JUVENILE COURT MINUTE ORDER ADD

FUNCTION: This transaction is used to add minute order information into JAI. It is used for "standard" minute orders, such as arraignments, adjudications, and dispositions. Minute order updates are entered with CC06. Miscellaneous minute orders are entered with CC08

To add a standard minute order, from the County Clerk Menu (CCMU):

1. Key the transaction code CC05.
2. Key the JAIN.
3. Key the Court#.
4. Key the Pet Date.
5. Press the ENTER key.

The response will be CC05. The first line contains the JAIN, name, sex, descent and date of birth. The second line of information contains the Court# and Pet Date. User must verify that all information matches the minute order before entries are made.

If a required field is omitted, CC05 will be redisplayed with two highlighted asterisks (**) in the missing field. If incorrect data is entered, CC05 will be redisplayed with the incorrect field(s) highlighted. Where several data elements are inter-related (a group where only one may be marked, or an element which is required when another is marked), the entire group will be highlighted when an error is detected. Key all correct data and press ENTER key.

There are three possible successful completion messages:

1. CC02 will be the response if Pet Sust, Pet Dism Reason or Case Dism was entered on CC05, and the petition is linked to an arrest.

2. CC07 will be the response if none of the above were entered and the Prob field is marked.

3. CCMU will be the response if the petition was not linked to an arrest or if none of the above were entered. CCMU will contain TXN of CC05, the JAIN, Court# and Pet Date. Successive CC05s thus may be done without re-keying those fields.
