FUNCTION: This transaction is used to link juveniles associated with the same incident. The primary result will be to group "companions" together on court calendars.
To add a new companion group, from the County Clerk Menu (CCMU):
1. Key the transaction code CC04.
2. Press the ENTER key.
To add one or more companions to an existing companion group, from CCMU:
1. Key the transaction code CC04.
2. Key the COMP#.
3. Press the ENTER key.

The response will be the CC04 mask. If a new group is being added no data will appear. If an existing group is being updated, previous data, including the companion number will be displayed.

A companion may be deleted by keying "DELETE" under any one of the JAINS of the juvenile. This will enable all juveniles associated with a companion number to be deleted as a group.
