JPDI DATA ELEMENT Table

Data Element Name	Explanation
JAIN	Juvenile Automated Index Number.
Name	Last, first and middle name of juvenile.
Sex	M or F for the sex of the juvenile.
Descent	A one-letter code for the descent of the juvenile.
Date of Birth	The date of birth from the first DOB field.
Page Number	The page number of this inquiry transaction.
Transaction Name	Juvenile Probation/District Attorney Disposition Inquiry.
Arresting Agency Information
Arrest Date	Date the juvenile was arrested for the charge(s).
Arrest Agency	Name of agency making the arrest.
File number or	The file number associated to these Booking number charges. (When no file number has been entered the booking number will appear.)
Charge	The charge(s) for which the juvenile was arrested; Additional Charges filed by the District Attorney (ADA), Charges filed by the District Attorney (FDA), and Charged Refiled by the District Attorney (RDA).
Probation Information
Area Office	The office code of the Probation Office assigned to the case.
PDJ#	The Probation Department's Juvenile Case #.
Referral Flag	The code which identifies the type of Referral: D = Detained; 6 = 6535; C = Citation; ND = Non-detained 652.
JAIC/IDC RCVD Date	Date arrest referral received by JAI Central or IDC.
JAIC/IDC SENT Date	Date arrest referral sent from JAI Central or IDC to the Area Office.
I/S	I = Initial Referral; S = Subsequent Referral.
AO RVCD Date	Date Area Office receives arrest referral from JAI Central or IDC.
Caseload #	Identifying the Probation Officer responsible the Probation Decision and the DPO REC for this arrest.
PRB DSP	Probation Officer's disposition also known as the 652 decision. CL = Case Closed; no further action CLT = Case Closed: Refer Teen Court CWP = Refer to Court without Petition
	CYA = Refer to California Youth Authority DA = Refer to District Attorney for filing DAC = Civil Unrest; Refer to District Attorney HIA = Hold in Abeyance OTR = Other; none of these codes apply PET = Petition Filed (often used in Inter County Transfer situations) 654 = Community Agency Diversion 777 = 777 Petition Filed
DSP Date	Probation disposition date.
DPO REC	DPO Court commendation,
Description	The description of DPO Court recommendation code.
CRT DSP Date	Date of Court Hearing.
District Attorney (DA)DSP	DA disposition code. Codes beginning with `D' are `Decline to File' matters.
	Codes beginning with `R' are `Refer' matters.
