C. HOW TO USE A TERMINAL FOR JAI

There are three steps required by JAI before information may be retrieved or entered. The first step is the IMS (Information Management System) logon. The second step is to request the logon screen. The third step is to request the appropriate menu from which you will request input/inquiry transactions.

There are two steps required by a JAI user to leave the terminal secured at the end of the day. These same steps must be followed if the terminal is used by operators of other systems. The first step is to clear the screen. The second step is the IMS logoff.
