COURT STAFF

FUNCTION: This transaction is used to add or change the names of court staff to be printed on court calendars and minute orders.

To display the CC12 mask, from the County Clerk Menu (CCMU):

1. Key the transaction Code CC12.
2. Key the department number.
3. Press the ENTER key.

The response will be the CC12 mask. If the department requested is already in JAI, previous staff names will be displayed.

Once the desired data has been keyed on the screen, press the ENTER key to record the information in JAI. The reply will be a redisplay of the staff for the department entered, exactly as it appears in the database. The operator then has the following options:

1. Correct any staff names by keying new information directly below an existing name.
2. Add a new name.
3. Delete an existing name by keying a minus sign (-) under the first position displayed.
4. Delete the entire department by keying "DEL" under the department number.
5. Request staff for another department by keying a new department number under the existing one.
6. Return to CCMU by pressing the ENTER key.

An incorrect department number cannot be changed. It must be deleted and re-entered correctly.

Entering "LIST" in the Department Number field on either CCMU or the CC12 screen will display a list of all currently valid departments which have staff information.

Changes made with CC12 will be available to JAI immediately and will appear on the next calendars printed by the system. However, calendars and minute orders are generally printed five working days in advance of the court date. This time period should be considered when determining which staff to enter.
