To navigate from one system to another, use the PA2 key. To navigate within a system, following the instructions at the bottom of each screen.

If one or more records are found JNAM Response screen will appear.

********************************************************************

********************************************************************

The first two lines contain the information entered on the JNAM
inquiry.

The remainder of the screen consists of one to thirteen name entries, containing the following information: Last name, First name, Middle initial, Mother's first name, up to two birthdates, active office, descent, the WIC Indicator (300 = Dependency, (601 = Status Offender, 602 = Delinquency), and JAIN.

There may be multiple pages of the JNAM response. If there are more than thirteen names, a message will appear: `For Additional Names, please press the PA1 key.' The operator may 'page' forward using the PA1 key or the Page Up key. A maximum of five hundred names may be retrieved. If there are more than 500 names, the message "JAI162 - Table Limit Exceeded Contact Programming Support" will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Additional `paging' instructions, including `back paging,' may be located in Section 3.

The name search is limited by using additional identifiers. The more identifiers used, the more limited the search. Users must be aware of not limiting the search too specifically. Using Mother's first Name and Date of Birth together will maximize a limited response.

For information on a selected juvenile, place an `X' in front of the JAIN and press the appropriate PF or F key to request a transaction available from the message at the bottom of the screen.

To access a transaction not available by the use of a PF or F key, record the JAIN and return to the JAI Menu by pressing the PF11 or F11 key.

Pressing ENTER from the JNAM response will return a blank JNAM screen.
