LOGOFF

A. JAI LOGOFF

B. IMS LOGOFF

At the end of the day, and before a planned system shutdown, logoff IMS by:

The message RCLSDST COMMAND COMPLETED will appear briefly at the top of the screen, and the cursor will drop down to approximately two inches below the left corner. The IMS logon is necessary should you need to use the terminal for JAI.

If a problem requiring assistance from IBM Operations occurs, always try the IMS logon procedure before calling. When you call, IBM operations will need the logical terminal (LTERM) name. Each JAI terminal has a 4-character LTERM name beginning with a `J' or an 8-character LTERM name beginning with the letters "JIL" marked on a label on the terminal. The IBM Operations 24-hour phone number is (562) 940-3305.
