CC02

PETITION ALLEGATION AND COURT ACTION ADD/UPDATE

FUNCTION: This transaction is used to add or update petition allegation and court action information for a petition linked to an arrest. This transaction provides the relationship between arrest charges and petition allegations and actions as displayed in JINQ.

CC02 is displayed through three options:

A. As the completion message for a CC01 linked to an arrest.

B. As the completion message for CC05 and CC06 under
certain conditions.

C. From the County Clerk Menu (CCMU).

CC02 entries are normally made in two steps. At the time of petition entry, the counts and allegations are entered on CC02. From the adjudication or disposition minute order the remaining entries are completed.

The first line of the CC02 mask contains the JAIN, name, sex descent and date of birth. The second line of information will be the Court#, Pet Date, Arrest Date and FIL# or booking number. Arrest Charges will be in a column under Court#. User must verify that all information matches the petition due to the fact that there may be more than one arrest on the same date. Refer to 23-2.

A. CC02 as the completion message for a CC01 linked to an arrest.

CC02 is used to match the counts on the petition with the charges as they appear on the screen. Each screen contains a maximum of seven arrest charges.

To enter petition information, key the Count of the petition next to the matching charge, then enter the allegation from the petition for that count, and so on for as many counts as are on the petition.

The data entered on the first line will be duplicated and inserted on the other lines for that page of CC02.
