FUNCTION: The JAI Menu lists and describes those transactions used by law enforcement and the Probation Department.
To display the JAI menu from a clear screen (cursor in upper left corner):
1. Key /FOR
2. Press the space bar
3. Key JIOPMENU
4. Press the ENTER key
The JAI menu may be accessed by pressing the PF11 or F11 key from anywhere in JAI.

The operator keys the appropriate transaction code and the JAIN in the designated fields and presses the ENTER key. The Juvenile Automated Index Number (JAIN) is required for all transactions except JADD, JFIL, JNAM, and JNUM. If the JAIN is not keyed on the JAI Menu, the JAIN MASK will display (see Section 5).
